I have Female Soneran Gophersnake. Well one morning I woke up with the hide box a tupperware dish with hole cut in lid sitting in my lap I had no Idea how it got there I ran down stairs and the cage locks were off and it was open about four inches. I search all morning and could`nt find it my mom told I was sleep walking that night. Well 3 days later my little brother flips up the recliner and there in was . We got it back into the cage after checking for injuries (We have cats) then fed him is late Fresh killed adult mouse. It was a happy ending

Ok, that IS a strange way for it to escape! Have too much pizza before bed? That makes my kids sleep walk. At least ya love your snake!

i have a friend that does that too. he woke up one night stark naked out in the hallway locked out. he supposedly goes for 'strolls' about 5 times a year......good thing you don't keep venomous....or do you? that could be a problem.....

Please, don't ever make posts where nudity and venomous snakes are alluded to at the same time! That's just too horrible.
