"Sugar" problems in boas

TSUSnakeGuy Jan 02, 2011 02:01 AM

ok so I have a baby redtail from one of this years litters that had started acting weird about a month ago and it is about 5 months old. It started acting like it had no control of it's body and yes seemed like some ibd symptoms but I'm not jumping to that just yet. But I force fed it last night because since the problems started, it stopped eating. Well today it seems to have better control of it's body. I'm wondering if he has a chemical issue if he goes to long without food. What do y'all think?

but I would guess not the cause of your boa's behavior. I'm only guessing though.. I don't have any formal medical or vet knowledge to back this up with.

I'll watch the replies the replies though, as I'm curious to see what others think.
