You guys notice the new classified sections?
Mexicana Complex and Mountain Kings have their own section now.....

Pretty cool!

Now all we need is a Hybrid section to keep that stuff in its own place...........

Well, there's a whole lot more milk snakes than Mexicana for sale. I think the milks should have their own section.

The only bogus thing is that some sections will have little to no classifieds (Alligator/Glass Lizards, Diamondback Terrapins, etc.). I do like hognose and milk snakes having their own spots.

I disagree with hybrids being in "Other Snakes" - that should be a category for longnose snakes, green snakes, night snakes, glossy snakes, etc.

Hybrids should have their own specific listing - maybe something like "Unwanted Snakes."

I agree with both of you fellas. If people insist on producing/keeping them, then I think hybrids should have their own section. I'm not looking to start a war, just my opinion.

I was thinking that Hybrids should go into the Feeder section. I hear Kings love the taste of them.

Hybrid Colubrids should have their own section, called Hybrid Colubrids.

It is a big improvement to have the milk snakes and the king snakes in separate sections.

You are reading into my initial post WAY too deep man.......
I never bashed hybrids in this post.....I laughed at what others said, but I never said they were bad.......

I said they need their own forum to keep that stuff separate too......that way anyone can go straight to what they are looking for.........It is just easier like this in my opinion. I wasn't celebrating the separation of categories....I just thought there should be one more.....Why the hell not?

Maybe I don't get you at all....You seem real friendly in person......I made no argument with you since the Yella Amel Speckled thing.........And I haven't here either.......I think the only one arguing is you.......For no reason at all.....

So....Continue on and have a nice day.......

If you accept Burbink's revision on L. getula and P. obsoletus then yeah, most of the common kings and rats in captivity would have to be viewed as hybrids at this point. I can't bring myself to support splitting up the populations the way he did, or removing any and all subspecies.
