Snakes and Geckos

Would it be ok to keep snakes and leopard geckos in the same rack system?

Thanks!

In my opinion...

As long as you can maintain proper husbandry for both animals in the same rack, I don't see a problem with it. I have a rack that I keep leopard geckos, african fat tail geckos, and rosy boas in. They all utilize the same cage space, so tub size is convenient. I keep my heat tape at about 93 which is about 88 in the cage. My leopards require a warmer hot spot, so I have a cave type hide over the heat which allows them to have a warmer area than the other cages. My African fat tails need more humidity so I provide a moss box for them in their tub. My rosy boas only need a hide spot on the cold side of the cage because they require slightly cooler temps. I keep my room at an ambient of around 75 and everyones needs are met. I have had zero problems with this arrangement since I purchased the rack about 8 months ago. The only thing I can think of, is to make sure if you're feeding crickets they cant get out of the tubs. Occasionally, I still find a random cricket that fit through the cracks, lol.

I hope this helps,

Anthony-
