Hi all. I will be moving to Mexico, just outside of Mexico city, within the next few years and I am looking for herp information. I am going to be ordering the book "Tropical Mexico - A guide to Mexican Wildlife" soon, but I don't know if that will be a sufficient guide for all of Mexicos herps. One of my questions is, are there anoles in Mexico (Mexico city area)? I went to the Dominican Republic last november, and the anoles were everywhere, and I would like to know if there are any lizard species in Mexico that I could find even in my own backyard. Also, are there any websites about the herps of Mexico? I want to be able to identify the venomous snakes, so a site with pictures and range maps would be excellent. (Or a book!)
Thanks,
James
