My five foot Peruvian BCC male regurged a large rat this past Monday morning. Today is Friday so 4 days have passed. I have not had a boa or python regurge for many years. What is the current wisdom on how long I should wait before feeding him a small food item. He is moving about his cage and looks good. Thanks for your help. Bill

3 weeks will never hurt him at this time of year its good to slow there food any way.Check you hot spot he may had layed there to long and if its a little to hot it could had cooked his food in stomach.And feed him a weanded or small rats for a while.

I found him dead in his cage tonight. He was one of the very thin saddled Peru boas with the golden background color. A very tame and gentle boa. Loved to be handled and never struck at me once in the 9 years I had him. He will always be missed. Bill

That means a lot to me. He was my nicest BCC boa. Always seems that you loose the favorite ones. Now the search is on for a quality replacement male. This will take some time. Bill
