A Few More of the Bradford County Beauty

CarlKoch Jan 07, 2011 11:25 PM

My good friend, Steve, asked me to post some more photos of my lovely Bradford County, Florida female corn on another forum, and I thought I'd also share them here.

That's a real beauty Carl!. I had a Miami-Dade W/C female in the very early 70's that looked virtually identical to her with the nice gray/orange mottled background and nice accentuating rich red saddle blotching that yours has.

A very nice one indeed!

Thanks, Doug! Now I just need to get her weight back to normal...after she laid, I fed her heavily in case she might double-clutch, and I over-did it. She should get back to normal after her winter fast and her next clutch.

LOL!,....yes, I noticed she wasn't exactly starving to death there, looks like she just pounded down a few prior to the photo session!
