I am curious as to what age female ball pythons start laying less eggs?
A friend of mine is selling a 10 year old big female and I was thinking of getting her.
Thanks in advance

A couple of years back someone posted about their normal female of 45 years or so who laid a clutch of 8, which I think is about average. She could be an exception, but I would bet like most reptiles they will continue to reproduce at average until they pass away. Just my theory though.

they live to 50.....
so ...if they are alive...they can breed probably...
...let's say 30 and retire her....
......wild import females...noone knows how old some are....
I have had huge females that bred for 10 years and looked the same after those 10 years as the day I got them...as adults....they might have been 30?...who knows...
