Flexwatt Heat tape wiring

Hello everyone. I have a few questions that I need some expert opinions on. First off I am wiring my rack with heat tape. I was wondering how you would connect multiple strands of tape? I know how to do just one. Would it be the same but just keep wiring it down and then plug it in?
