What morphs do you like?? Have you been to any shows to actually look at various morphs in person? If not, go to one. I always went with what I liked. Now there are sooo many morphs that it is hard to keep up with it all. Read the forum often and look at what others are producing, look at websites listing numerous morphs. Choose what you like and what you can afford and go for it!

If you have never bred balls before, start out with inexpensive morphs such as pastels and other co-doms to begin with. Buy yourself some of the most popular books (McCurley's and the Barker's Ball Python books) and read up on what you should expect. Knowledge will help you get to where you want to go.
Good Luck!

I agree with the other post. Start with co-doms that are reasonably affordable and that you like. Personally I like mojaves, pinstripes, lessers, butters, and spiders. Most of them are either reasonably priced, or right there at it. It all depends on your likes and dislikes as far as what you would like to produce. I have read Kevin's book cover to cover at least twice, and have been extremely happy with the knowledge in it, and the photos and break downs of the different morphs. Hope this helps.
