reference to below my hondos too?

I tried last night to feed, and I cut the nose off the pinkies and nothing. My four new king ate two pinkies each!. The pinkies were small. As for the Hondo's I will just wait and see. I feel that they just need some time to adjust to their new home. I am not to worried they have good weight. I just need to be patient.
Thanks for the advice Doug. I am thinking of waiting about a week, or until I see them come out and look for food.
Does this sound about right?

Well, there are two trains of thought on how to go about it. First, if you have a small shoebox you usually keep them in, and you are VERY, VERY careful and slow when you gently open the lid without clunking and clanking, etc..so they do NOT notice you doing it so they spook, you can then gently place one with long tweezer tongs with it's face ripped up just inside the dark cutaway entrance (ripped face first)to the hide cup it hangs out in, and if you do all this with ZERO comotion and racket, many times they will check it out soon after and grab it up. Do this then leave it in total darkness again too.

OR!,....do this same thing with the pink again and put it in a tiny 8 ounce deli cup so they are both in very close proximity, and leave it alone again in total darkness as well totally undistubed.

Sometimes it takes a while, but they usually ALWAYS give in after a while of getting hungry. Just hang in there, they can go a VERY long time with no food. As long as it isn't super skinny yet, I wouldn't worry at all, and just keep trying about every five to 7 days.

good luck!

Well, I am not worried yet. I know some can be a bit stress with just the moving around from one place the the other. I like to take my ques from the snakes that why I fed the kings again and this time I gave each of them two. It was only two days after they ate and they were out looking for more, so I knew that one pinkie was a little to small. The Homdos have good weight the are on fuzzies. so they have some size to them. I hatched out some Children's pythons one time and what I did was I cut a slit down the neck to the belly, and they ate it. The next time I go to feed I might try that. But I will definitely wait on that. I am just glad the kings are eating.
Thanks Doug for the help.

On more than one occasion I've had hatching (and sometimes larger) Hondurans refuse to eat small pinky mice. Yet they would gladly consume large pinkies and/or fuzzies. From what I've experienced, it seems that some baby/young Hondurans have a preference for somewhat larger food items.
