Show your snake room!

i like seeing innovative (or even typical) ways people keep their collection. I was rearranging my snake room today and as i stood back admiring it i decided to take a pic to share. I built the rack from a dirt cheap shelf i got from wal mart and cut it to the height i liked. Locking the tubs with binder clips is not as convenient as a true rack system but it works for my small collection. Heat is via flex watt. I am going to experiment with heating the top row and hopefully fitting 3 to a shelf hatchling size tubs as next year i might take the plunge into breeding a pair of my corns.

Nice collection you got going there!! I am an adamant suggester of investing in good quality caging. Whether it be rack systems or individual cages, pick what you like and stay consistent. Even if its aquariums. That will keep all your shelving, heating, etc. the same and easier to expand and stay organized and space efficient. You will appreciate it as your collection grows. Try to keep the hodgepodge of different cages to a minimum if possible, or you will drive yourself crazy trying to keep things clean and organized!!!!
