Meal Worm question

I am feeding my "half dollar" sized RES's mealworms. They are eating them like hot cakes. My question is how many regular sized mealworms can i feed the RES's safely each day without over feeding them?

I would feed them only as a treat 1-2 times a week, and 2-4 for each turtle.

They are fatty and their skins are very hard to digest. They should be an occasional treat as noted above, not a staple in the diet.
