I’m an amateur Naturalist doing some locale-specific research, and recently found this link of particular interest:

The photo appears to have a file date of 2010. If you posted this photo anywhere on the Internet, or know who did, please contact me. Your feedback can be very helpful.

Well my pair were said to have come from a female that was field collected in Burma.
The strange thing is this pair has produced amelanistic babies...so either the tale I was told is less than accurate or that field collected female happened to have a recessive gene for albinism.

Yeah, that does make you seriously wonder about the authenticity of that "tale" doesn't it?..LOL!

Most helpful, thanks.

Whether or not the tale is true about the genetics, the location may very well be correct.

Interesting that yours have such a green to the top stripe. My sub adult has a hint of green, but is more subtle yellow that quickly fades to light brown. His head is very caramel, not at all copper.

This looks like really helpful info. How kind of you.

I will research the links, and they will help.
