I thought for sure this round thing would turn!

Nope, not this way, either!

Well. maybe I will see about getting the glass polished instead!

Reminds me of the scientific experiments I've seen of the octopus being smart enough to twist the lids off jars to get to the crab inside..LOL!!

I never underestimate the intelligence or the determination of my snakes. Those round lid things will unscrew to accommodate water bottles, etc. I taped them shut from the outside because I could just imagine one of my snakes figuring out how to nudge them open.

Yeah, very true. It wouldn't be so much that they would "figure it out" though, as it would be more that snakes just don't give up pressing and pushing in places that might have a void, and if not very secure might finally slip open from the pressing and pushing. I'm sure you know all about their being very determined at this..LOL!
Just had a freakin normal 100% het hypo/amel/poss.het anery from the "mega" hypo line escape the other day. I don't expect to ever see him again either given the very large clutted garage it was in at the time. It was entirely my fault of course, and I haven't had a snake escape for many years. I was just careless about the way I put three small tubs away after I double-checked their sexes to be shipped soon.....arrrgh!!!
That REALLY pi$$** me off too, as that was a very important male to the trio for producing very un-common future "mega" line extreme hypos!!

That is a major bummer! I have made good use of my tendency to be obsessive compulsive when it come to securing snake lids. I never thought this OCD would ever be of any use to me, but finally I have found a use for it.

I hear ya!.....once in a while just about everything comes in handy here and there..LOL!
Yeah, I am always extremely careful about it too, but over time it seems stupid stuff STILL happens once in a great will when all the right (wrong) factors fall into place. Everyone here knows exactly what I am talking about too..LOL!

HAHA! That is so freaking funny. I tried to just observe the pictures first without reading and man does she seem like she knows what she's doing! Then the third picture Zeke seems like she lost her insanity lol! I really think that kings have a way of displaying cuteness without looking cute but...you know what I mean! I get a kick out of many of your messages Bob!

You can never have only one snake!
Thanks, Tony!
I keep my camera at the ready as the snakes are quite often doing something funny.
