Sweet. I know some morphs tend to get larger than others. Perhaps Okeetee is one of the morphs that tends to be big. I don't work with them, but several here do so can comment better. Would love to see a picture!

It is rather large for a cornsnake, but some corns can get to 6ft. However, okeetee's are known for being a little larger in length and girth. I'd love to see a picture of that big boy.

That's about the top of their range. Okes imo are the largest of the Corns. My original abbott male was very large, I never measured him but he was impressive. I gave him to my brother-in-law and it escaped from a cheap tank lid. I don't think I even took pics of him, but he was eating small/medium rats. It was this ones dad.

Seems that Okeetee lines, as well as wild snakes from Jasper county do tend to be the largest race of cornsnake known to the hobby. All of the massive specimen's I have ever seen or heard of were also Okeetee lineage. Howie Sherman's "monster" corn line are indeed true locality Okeetee origin as well.
That's a beauty there too Jorge!, too bad you never snapped any pics of the huge father. But don't feel all alone there, I could just about punch myself for not getting pics of some of the stuff I have had over the years too.....especially before digital cameras were around and you had to send 35 mm stuff to the drug store for big bucks only to be very disappointed with the majority!..LOL!

Wow! I'd love to see a pic of that big guy!1
Jeff

here are some pix of my monster. the candy cane in the pix is about 730g's. as you can see she is dwarfed by him.

He was an 01 Love line okeetee and the first corn I ever bought. I wasn't much of a snake guy then and I depended on the local pet store for frozen rodents. That meant he occasionally went 2 weeks without food when they were out of stock and got pinkies for several meals when he was easily large enough for fuzzies. Size must have been in his genetics though because in spite of the less than ideal feeding he got as a youngster, he ended up somewhere around 5.5 feet last time I measured him. The lady I sold him to sent me this picture of him in her truck bed to give an idea of his size.

Did you actually measure the snake?
It really doesn't look like six feet - which is the record length for a Corn Snake.
Most tiles are 1 foot square.
If this is the case with your tile, than the snake is closer to three feet than to six feet.
Tim
well i am sorry but i was wrong. for those perfectionist out there after actually measuring him the BEST i could he is not 6' but rather 5'8". if you can see the picture you can tell he is not stretched out so he is conciderably larger than 3'
