It may be that desert ghost is some type of dominant and the heterozygous babies start out really clean high contrast with the deep blurry black and faded head centers that Kevin just posted. With time, it might come to look like the original imported desert ghost.
Desert ghost is pretty rare and uncharted, thanks for sharing Kevin! If you could also let us know if both parents where desert ghost and if all the babies looked the same (I’m assuming “no” on both but just a guess). Also, I’ve been wondering if desert ghosts shed clear.
