Golden Guyana Girl - "Now"

kitchi Jan 23, 2011 07:25 AM

Well she does not fit in the box anymore but here she is from yesterday and 5 months after giving birth. She still has some loose skin and not all her looks back but I am still amazed by her. Based on the couple hundred boa constrictors I have worked with, many can get get dark and ugly way before the 8.5 yrs old, 8.5 ft and three years of consectutive breeding milestones that she has hit.

That Golden Guyana Girl is looking GorGeous!

Seriously... WOW!

She's something special, that's for sure, Mike.

Thanks for sharing her.

I just wish you were the photographer as she would look much nicer with your camera and skills. Thanks JB.

I think we just need to get you a camera with more than 2mp's and a modern sensor and processor. I think you'll surprise yourself. Even with that camera, your pictures are fairly decent.

You should consider dropping a couple hundred bucks on something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SD4000IS-Digital-Optical/dp/B003L77Y5S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295842991&sr=8-1

It's a full auto point and shoot. I just bought this exact camera for my wife and it does an EXCELLENT job with pictures. Easy to use too. In fact, it's so good in low light that often, it doesn't even fire the flash when another camera would, which should keep colors from washing out. That's not to say that the flash never fires though.

If you're interested, I'll be happy to snap a few boa pics with it (when she gets back in town from visiting her parents) in a setting like you normally use so you can compare them to yours and see if you think it's worth it. Just let me know man

Thanks. It sounds like I should do what you say. My situation is low light and sometimes the photos are almost black even with the flash. I actually get more light in the winter when the sun is at a lower angle.
