Hi, i'm new to the forum. I was wondering how long i can keep a hatchling savannah monitor in a 20 gallon long tank? Also, how big with they get, feeding, and lightig. I know i will have to get him a larger tank down the road. Also, do they need a uvb light? Thanks, any other information would be good too.

Mike.

Hello, Mike. A 20 gallon tank should be fine for another month or two. If you're feeding it correctly, every day. Which you should. Then for it's sake it should outgrow that enclosure in a month. Go to your lumber yard and buy plenty of wood for it. Search through all the old archives, for any info you need. It's all there, best of luck!
