First Thank-you for the information on the humidity hides. I had two of my baby girls dig deep inside their hides and stayed there for days. When I got home from work today one was out and she had shed a full one piece shed. So the hides are working great.

And now for the big question, if the Brooks king is a morph of the Florida king ( Brain Hubbs book) Then has anybody bred two brooks together and gotten at least one normal looking Floridana?
You would think that someone would of produced at least one Floridana. I am just trying to get a handle on a brooks being a morph. Once again Thanks for the input

Brooks is not a morph in the classic sense like an albino. It is a regional phenotype that occurs with some consistency in some parts of South Florida. It is thought to be adaptation to the light colored limestone in that area.

Two brooksi bred together can produce darker offspring. Two darker kings can produce a light brooksi type. The brooksi in captivity have been selectively bred for generations, so you're unlikely to see anything dark pop out of those lines.
