My first litter of 2011 was born overnight! The parents are Sky and Sable. 7 males, 5 females, 2 still in sacs, one stillborn, and 5 slugs. A few Bullseyes, and a couple look like they will be really nice bright oranges after a few sheds. There is one Bullseye that has one eclipse on each side... very interesting.

This was a late breeding, and the only litter I expect to see until the normal season of late summer into fall. Definitely will be a nice change to have well established babies for my spring show!

Thanks Dave! Yeah, I guess you could look at it either way. Actually a very late litter from my 2010 pairings, but since that female now won't have babies this year, it could be a super early litter for her 2011 season, lol! Now, if I could just get the rest of the girls to have early litters I'd be set!

...It has been impressive over the last several years watching you have so many nice successes with Rainbow Boas and your other snakes. You decide what you want and then you make it happen. This is the first january litter I know of.

Thanks for the kind words, Jeff! Haha, yeah, I can be a bit stubborn when I get my mind on something. If I want something bad enough I can usually find a way to make it happen. Though, this can be very annoying to the people around me because I normally can't shut up about it until I get it, lol!

Here are some pics of the litter. After I initially saw them crawling around, I closed the lid and set up a baby tub for them to all clean off in. When I came back to collect the babies, most of them had hid all around daddy. It was so cute!
