Exotic pet store owner protests Payson ordinance that would add new restrictions on exotic pets – from lions to boa constrictors

Shannon Long, owner of Arizona Exotic Pets, argued in vain last week against the town’s new regulations on exotic animals like Bertha, the boa constrictor. The new rules require exotic pet owners to obtain written permission from the chief of police.
