trying not to freak out

SteveinIL Jan 26, 2011 10:36 PM

I just picked my first 2 snakes up last week and my mojo just shed and I noticed what looks like a cut on her underside. SHe still has a little shed on her head but I'm more concerned with the cut on her underside. Do I need to take this to a vet right away or should I let it heal on its own? best pics I could take with gfs phone. hopefully they are clear enough

I noticed the same think on two of my snakes. It is fine my friend Jason told me it is where they were attached to the yolk sack. No worries!! : )

What the other two said. It's the snake bellybutton.

No blood usually means no worries.

thank you all so much. I'm sure I'll have many more questions as I own these babies longer especially since I do want to start breeding BP's in the next few years. and I'll do my part to help other newbies when I know what I'm talking about

As others have said.

But wouldn't the breeder you actually bought these from been able to answer these questions?
