Cloudy eyed ciliatus

floridachondro Sep 27, 2003 06:01 PM

New to the formum and have a question. I just noticed today that my 2 year old male ciliatus has a very cloudy left eye. I do not think it is a retained shed issue because the eye looks cloudy inside. Has anyone ever experienced this before? He is a healthy animal and I have had him since he was a small hatchling. I have noticed no behavioral changes at all. He is housed by himself and is doing well in all other aspects.
Thanks,
Scott

Perhaps he scratched it on something within his cage, if so then it will be gone the next time he sheds. If you are sure that is not the case I would keep and eye on it and possibly make an appointment at the vets. Best of Luck.
