we have a "disaster plan" for the rescue, gas powered generator in the back yard, to power electric heaters. it would involve moving the cages from the "dry room" to the "tropical room" (wouldn't be to worried about change for a day or two)
the ones who would worry me the most would be the boa we have downstairs (after an IBD scare, I will not let her live upstairs) and a beardie who is still in quarantine downstairs, and the fish tanks that include a 29gal w/ tetras, my 50gal w/angels and I would pull the african side neck who lives down stairs and put him in a tank upstairs w/ the rest of the herps...
in the past I have used the air activated hand warmers and put them under tanks, helped a bit, even hatched some leos that had to be warmed for a day and a half that way!
