hey im wondering how to get my BP as big as possible, its 2feet now only and i was wondering the max i can feed it, im giving 2 hoppers every 5 days right now, can i go more then that or is it too much?

I doubt your Ball will never hit 5' at this rate.

I feed my 6 week old 16"-18" babies rat crawlers that have thier eyes open . At 20"-24", I will be feeding weaned rats to them.

I try to get my BP's on rat pups for thier first meal, on average I would say 1 rat pup (3-5 days old) = 2-3 hoppers.

The best thing to do is get your animal on rats as soon as possible.

aren't you not supposed to feed anything fatter than the largest part of your snake? rat pups are much wider than a 1-2month BP

sounds like your ball needs to be on bigger food. my het albino female is 26" and she eats a small rat every 7 days with no problem. my albino male is 22" and he eats the largest rat pup i can get every 7 days. my het pied females are all around 24" and the eat 1-2 lg rat pups every 7 days. they are ready to move up to very sm. rats. my pied male is only 124 gms and maybe 15 inches and he loves a rat pup every 7 days.i agree with previous post you need to switch to rat pup if possible. my

How is a rat pup (5-7 days old) wider than a 2 month old BP?

I feed my 6-7 week old (175-225 gram) babies a 20-30 gram rat crawler every 4-5 days. When I feed, the small lump is gone after 2 days.

Rats are your best bet. I have a BP about the same size as yours. Except she is growing really fast. Hoppers arent a good meal for a ball her size. The best thing I can offer is to start her on small rats quick. Usually at a 1'5-6" I start feeding them adult mice. I feed about half a dozen mice and then jump straight to small rats.
