Bit of a feeding problem

tempest Sep 27, 2003 06:57 PM

My latest Western hog (CB 03) is eating just fine. But he has regurgitated a chunk of each of the three pinkies I've fed him. The majority of the pinkie has been digested, judging by the healthy spots of snake poo that I observe. I wonder if this is something to be concerned about. I suppose I could cut a pinky in half, but that doesn't seem like it would leave much of a meal. Any thoughts?

some times if they are to cold the food just stays in them to long and starts to go bad . so you might need to warm the little hog up a bit after it eats .and try not to bother it to much shortly after feeding as well . temps in the low to mid 80s would be good. no need to cut a pinkie in half ! hope this helps. good luck .
