I'm not an expert, but I know that once she ovulates, it's a done deal. It may be hard to witness an ovulation in a snake that large, especially if you're feeding her large items. My only female that's pregnant so far this season refused food about a week before she ovulated, and she was back on feed two weeks later. It was really easy to notice the ovulation because it looked like she swallowed a football, only it was way lower down than where her stomach is. I also reduce the size of the food offered during my breeding season to about a quarter of what she usually gets, but then again, I also cool my boas and didn't want to have any issues with digestion. If she is swelling in more than one area she is probably building egg follicles. I'd leave the male in with her until you know for a fact that she is pregnant. I have 2 males that have been courting their girls for 2.5 months now. I haven't noticed any ovulations (I may have missed them), but if the male still wants to breed, then I'll let him breed. My female that did ovulate hasn't moved from the heat pad since that time.

I hope some of this helps,
Anthony-
