Thanks Carl. I fell in love with them the first time I saw some. They were being offered for sale but I could not afford them at the time.

Wow Jorge, those are all super nice corns!. Those Specter ghosts are really sweet bro!

I see those two hets are doing VERY well for you. She is one little "chunky monkey" now..LOL!

Every time I see that male now I have to wonder if it isn't actually a hypo himself?, but he sure didn't "seem" to be as a tiny hatchling. Man, by just looks alone, he could pass for one any day of the week, and even seems to look more hypomelanistic than many out in the hobby..LOL!

Anyway, glad to see all your snakes are doing so well bro....congrats!

Doug he does have a little black on the belly. Not much but it's there. These should go next year and give some beautiful babies. Thanks again for them!

Yeah, he's just one of those fairly uncommon corns that strongly resembles a genuine hypo. You yourself know how reduced some of the normal phenotypes can be, .....especially around Florida!..LOL!

You are VERY welcome bud, and I am just happy they all went to you and not someone that I didn't know to be quite honest.

Best of luck with producing some sweet ones from the pair Jorge. I can't wait to see what they produce either!..LOL!

Very nice :*)...Would love to see more pics of your Strawberries, and would you say they are more "red" than a typical hypo?

a153fish Feb 06, 2011 06:08 PM

Thank you! I only have the one Strawberry. I wanted a pair but all the females were sold. I want to do some breeding trials with different morphs. The problem with trying to understand the strawberry is that so many have been bred into the hypo gene which it is allelic with. This one is also a Motley which also effects the color by washing away certain colors. I really like this guy and will probably breed him to my striped ghost when she is old enough. I don't have time to take any new pics right now so here are some I took shortly after I recieved him.
