The specter crew

Kevin Saunders Feb 05, 2011 09:40 AM

Just thought I'd share a few impromptu pics of these guys. These first two were taken about a second apart (he's had thawed mice all his life, he's just enthusiastic).

Here's his brother.

One of the old matriarchs of the line.

Unfortunately no one's interested in breeding with her yet. I wish she'd hurry up and ovulate.

These two are from a totally unrelated line to the specters.

This little guy is an absolute joy to own-very light and clean in appearance, perfectly mellow, and a great eater. I'm excited to see how he turns out as an adult. He's got a fair amount of pink to his background coloration, but it's very light and doesn't show through in pictures.

Here's his big sister. She's past the 3 foot mark, but I don't think she's 300 grams yet (I've misplaced my larger scale and have no way to weigh her right now). It'd be nice if she'd get up to breeding size this year though.
