Fat Anaconda

How do I post pics?

Anyway...I have a male green. He will soon be a year old, and hes give or take 4ft. I had thought that he would grow faster.

he was CB Dec 02. He wouldnt even eat for the first 2-3 months, I wondered if he was going to die. He finally ate though. I started feeding one mouse weekly, moved on to 2 or so...then he switched over to small rats. By no means do i see this as overfeeding. However, he has like the "fat creases" where lines of scales fold back. I always assumed this meant overweight, it tends to with burms, Ive had a few rescues that were obese, and they had it really bad.

I wouldnt think that i should be feeding less than this though?

thanks
chris

` Doesn't sound like you're feeding too much. I have some Anacondas with those creases, and some without. Only one fat one, and he doesn't have them. Go figure.
` To post pictures, you've got to join a hosting site, like Kingsnake. Upload your pix to your gallery. Then you can post them here. There's a tutorial at the photo gallery link. I'd like to see your pix. Here's one of mine, hosted at Kingsnake.
