Heating

MylesMasterson Feb 07, 2011 07:34 PM

I just made some new boa cages 2 stacks of 3 each. They have compartments of 4' Long X 2' Deep X 1' tall. I've got thousands of dollars worth of boas in them......

Any suggestions on heating them? I was thinking heat cable and ceramic tiles or flexwatt heat tape. I've got thermostats I can use. Temporarily im using heat mats going in the front on the locked sliding doors.
Must be relatively easy to do, I'm not very much of a handy man and I am only 14.

Thanks Guys, I just signed up and hope to be on this forum more.

melamine

I would go with radient heat panels and a good thermostat. Heat tape will not work so well outside the melamine, and I would not put it inside the cages. Hope this helps.
