I think my little Carpet guy is getting too big for his britches! I put my hand in to pick up a silkie that I dropped, and he watched me like a hawk, puffing himself up all the while...little booger looked like he wanted to bite me! 
Before, he used to just run and hide...now he's getting brave...and I'm turning into a chicken.
