This is a slug from a litter that dropped today. I thought slugs were unfertilized. My wife made me crack it open to see what is inside and there was a boa!

By exact definition, this one would not technically be a slug. It would be an embryo that died in the early stages of development that did not have the age in this early stage to have used a significant amount of the yolk supply within the ova. A true slug is an unfertilized ova which would never have a developing embryo. Very interesting and thanks much for posting.
