Do or did you have a BLIND, female, adult Brazilian Rainbow Boa? Do you know anyone with a BLIND BRB? She might be in Arizona. Please help us find our snake!
Details: Extenuating circumstances caused me to find my BRB a new home in Feb. 2010. I gave her to Pine Valley Bible Camp (Southern CA). Camp leader confirmed snake would be a permanent member of her family and that I would have first right to her back if camp was not successful. I was not told that camp was not a success. Nor was camp leader honest when I called to check on my snake every month. Person sold Vision Tank for $$$. Did not maintain correct moisture for snake and she was blinded. Snake had approx. 6-8 month stay at Pet Kingdom in San Diego. She was then sold to person in Arizona and then changed hands once again. I am passionate about my animals and never before have given an animal away. I am hopeful that somebody will see this post and be able to help. I have contacted vets, stores and herp societies. I realize that snake may not be attached to us, but we are attached to her. Hand raised since baby and purchased at Berkeley Vivarium in 2000. Please see pictures.
