need help in finding an adoptable sulcata

Country-girl3 Sep 27, 2003 10:00 PM

Hi all,

I am wanting to adopt a young sulcata, but am having a hard time finding an adoption agency that will adopt out to a cool climate state.
Anyone have any suggestion on who might adopt out to a cool climate state?

Thank you,

Kelly Wood

Where are you located...

Sorry Ed, I did leave some info out, didn't I!? I am located in Illinois as of right now.

Next year I will be moving to Missouri. I own 10 acres out there and I will finally be able to live there. YEAH!

I am a member of the St. Louis herp society, but I have contacted them numerous times about adoption, but never hear back. Must not be that serious about adopting out.

Kelly,

The Minnesota Herp Society regularly (unfortunately) has Sulcata's for adoption and I know Jake's Burm, Leopard, Pancake pens are full so you won't have any more local competition.
But seriously, our monthly meeting is this Friday (10/3) so if you can send me you info I'll get it to the adoption director and have her contact you. Most of ours are shipped out of state.

That would be great Ernie, what type of info are you needing?

Thanks again,

Kelly Wood
