Hello everyone.
I've bought myself a mexican kingsnake today(15FEB) and it is completely awesome. The only problem is the lest noticeable - food. I've ordered a pack of 100 pinkie mice around 11FEB from rodentpro.com and unfortunately the haven't been even shipped yet. Estimated delivery date right now, according to their message is 25FEB. I suppose that the snake was fed around 13-14FEB so in any case I would need to feed it before 25.

Can someone please spare one-two pinkies? =)
Unfortunately I don't even have a car to pick them up.
People, I do understand the request is so funny, but do I have any other choice? (except buying another 100 pack from local pet shop)

P.s.: I have no clue if this is the correct discussion to place this topic into. Sorry

P.p.s.:

I am in indianapolis but i do not have any pinkies. American rodent supply is located on the eastside off of post road. All local uncle bills, specks pet supply, Petco and Petsmart Sell individual pinkies. Although expensive at around $1 a piece it is a temporary solution. In fact i dont know of a single pet store that sells bags of rodents in bulk. If all of that fails your probably better off trying a local craigslist ad. Good luck! Im sorry if promoting a business is not allowed here but the guys at ARS are awesome and thats where i get all of my rodents. I am lucky to have such a good supplier in my hometown.

Thank you. I will try to ask someone to drive me to petsmart probably. That is a great solution. Thank you.

Although if there are anyone who is willing to help, I would kindly appreciate that.

P.s.: Is it better to find a wooden piece for terrarium by yourself or to buy it? I am just feeling in between.

If you are talking about a decorative piece of wood, any thing you get out of nature should be sterilized befor being put in your enclosure. You don't want any nasty bugs or other stuff cralling out and infecting your snake.

If you are talking about a hide, I say skip the wood ones. They are hard to clean when your snake poos on them. I use cardboard cerial and cracker type boxes with open end and at least one hole cut in top. They are easy to set up and disposible/recyclable when soiled.

Best of luck with your new friend,
A
