Palm Beach County, FL Glades/Yellow Rat

foxturtle Feb 17, 2011 02:21 PM

This is a 2010 hatchling I collected out of a structure in Palm Beach County while driving home from the Everglades. Call it a Yellow or an Everglades Rat. Should turn into a nice adult.

I'd normally be willing to part with it, but there is some sentimental attachment for this one at my house.

But, like the old saying goes: There are plenty more where that came from!

Ah shucks, ...but please keep us update as it morphs out.

Just a wild-caught snake! This color phase is pretty common.
