Thanks Jeff. Yeah, he's not little anymore, he's over 6' long now!
They grow up so fast (sniffle, sniffle.)

Well, it's funny, many Indigo snake "experts" told me Jack would soon be dead from mal-nutrition (or at least criticized me strongly) when I would share my feeding routine with them. Anyway, don't really want to get into that, it's sort of a sore spot with me, and it's one of the reasons I don't participate in Drymarchon forums. I actually still feed Jack less than what most other Dry owners feed their snakes, so no growth hormones or giant rabbits. Just a common sense diet of low fat, high protein, and high calcium food items.

Thanks!
Ed

Hey Ed, Jack looks awesome as always. Eastern Indigos are amazing looking snakes. I'd consider buying one someday if it weren't for the legal hurdles that comes with owning them. I love your OT posts. Keep them coming.

Thanks Paul! In what state do you live?

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE those first two pictures! Looks like you caught him mid-stalk on a hunting expedition. Hmmm... just might have to steal those two for my "neat snake photos" collection.

Oh and WTF... he got HUGE!!!!!

Thanks Aubrey! Feel free to use the pics as you wish. Yeah, it's like these guys are ALWAYS on the hunt. When I take him outside you can tell he's rooting around the grass for food. When I put him near my little backyard pond you can tell he senses there are fish and/or frogs in there. That's one of the joys of indigos, it's just fun to watch them since they are always on the move or doing something interesting.

Thanks,
Ed
