White spots? Not a Calico but a Whiteout

CreativeReptile Feb 18, 2011 05:30 PM

In the last couple of years a few of the citrus pastels and now called citrus whiteouts (the higher grade citrus pastels throwing out crazy supers) have been having these white spots as if they were calicos. Not too sure what is going on with these spots... as they have been popping up in Amirs and my collection. Guess we will see this season or the next when 2 with the white spots are bred together.

Wish I had better pics but it was hard to capture the spots on the side. Much better in person

Not saying that the whiteouts are the ones that carry the white spots in pastels, just pointing out the white spots that have been coming out more and more in the whiteout stuff.

Really liking the look and wondering if this is something that is line bred or what?

That girl is definitely a stunner. I thought the whiteout I have had the most white ive have yet seen but your girl is something special.

Hey Jonathon,

White spots and speckles just come with the territory on pastels. Some have a lot more than others. Great looking animal!
