I've been puting my ball pythons together for something like 2 months and they mate for lots of time. Now, the female is going for shed, my question is - what are the chances that its a pre lay shed? Is it possible that its a regular shed?

The best thing to do, is be prepared for eggs at the 25-30 day mark! Have egg box together, dampened, incubator at correct temp. etc.
I think that I even felt 5 eggs, not sure though, cuz its my first time....
I would say, if you keep putting the male in with her, and he shows no more interest in breeding her, it's a good indicator that she is "pregnant"
