Yep yep, he's my fav.
Thanks Jason
A beautiful "Basin" regardless of focus. Not bad though. Glad to see someone (you) investing so much in the GBs. Continually amazed by the degrees of variation that you are able to achieve.

Very neat looking line! I 2nd Jim's remarks, "good to have someone putting so much effort in deserticola"!
Refresh us as to the origins of that "Blonde" line. It looks like a reduced pattern/hypomelanistic type.
Have you crossed in the orange-red Teasdale trait?
Keep the nice images coming
cheers,
ginter

Hey John,
How's that 09 striper behaving these days? Feeding regularly on F/T yet? Putting on some good growth? Hope to get a strongly striped individual some day that is not too far removed from those that occur in wild populations. There are some absolute "screamers" (in the eyes of this beholder) encountered in the wild occasionally as evidenced by some of the photos posted here and there. Just curious.
Thanks,
Jim

HI John
The Blonde GB poped out of a WC female. The details I recall was the WC snake laid 10 eggs. Most of the offspring were your standard looking GBs. But a few where reduced pattern and bright yellow. The locality is in Phelen CA.
I am unsure of how the Blonde gene works as of yet. Several years ago I breed a Blonde to a normal. Here is a pic of the offspring. I am going to breed these het? Blondes together this summer. So we should have some answers later in the year if thing go well. I accept blondes to pop out, but you never know whats going to happen. They wont be locality blondes.
I haven't bred the Teasdale orange into the Blondes yet. I am going to breed Locality Blonde X Locality Blonde.
Blonde X Patternless and this project has got my excited. Image a Patternless Blonde!!! Bright yellow patternless snake with normal eye color. I would call this snake a Bleach Blonde.

Jason
...snakes I have ever seen. Your GB's are incredible. Got to be a good year for you!!!!!!!!
Those blondes are stunning Jason.
Anyhow, you don't find any deserticola here in Europe, at least I've never seen one.
