I find Pacifics every spring usually around April or May up here in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Were do you live that you are finding them in your yard in February?

Found hiding from feral cat under small piece of plywood.

Found while weed wacking hillside.

Found while doing yard cleanup.
They all get a good meal or so then are released in my friend's yard which is sorely infested with gophers. My friend has no cats.
