"Stonewash Pastel"

BillLubak Sep 27, 2003 11:41 PM

I posted a pic of her before so I decided to name her, She's not a Black and White or an IMG. She has "pastel eyes" and the blushes of a pastel and she looks stonewashed. So I decided to call her a "Stonewash Pastel". She just shed and showed no color change this time. The pic doesn't pic up the butter yellow on her. She will be bred to a screamer pastel in the not so distant future.

Did you see pattern in her shed?

BillLubak Sep 28, 2003 08:48 AM

Hi Randy, yes she does have a pattern in her shed. I thought at first she may have been some type of ghost. The post of her is not even a good representation of her true color. The black is like velvet and the butter yellow is washed out. I will try and get a pic in natural light if it ever stops raining!

When you said butter yellow, it got me thinking, my ball has the same brown granite type sides, and his dorsal color is a nice butter yellow. The pic does not capture it well, but...

Dayve, that is a nice looking animal. I went outside and snapped another pic in natural light. It's really hard to capture her color. I will post her baby pic too.
