That's an absolutely fantastic picture of your Brazilian Rainbow Boa. One of these days I need to play around with flash pictures in a dark room. You really captured the iridescence perfectly.

Cliff, cheers for that. I too would love to sit down and have a photo shoot day, but lately, ive been travelling so much. It takes up enough feeding and cleaning. i recently received a 550D 18megapixel camera, so do need to sit down and get some more quality shots.
As for the snake in the first picture. Its a Columbian Rainbow, and i believe its hypomelanstic. There isnt really much background info to give on it, but luckily its an adult, so it shouldnt take me quite as many years to find out if its genetic though. To cut down on time though, her first breeding will produce double hets.....
