Here's a little affinis found in situ to start things out.

I'd like to get some thoughts on this snake. The hypo seems to be obvious, but I'm thinking that because there is absolutely no yellow/orange either that anery/eryth might be involved also. Both the brown and tan colors are a constant shade throughout the snake, with an almost patternless metalic sheen to the sides. What seems even more strange is the pattern looks more deserticola to me, but it's far within the annectens/affinis zone. Other thoughts/ideas welcome.

And unfortunate to find that it had met it's fate earlier, it was a fine example of the subspecie.

Nice looking Sonorans I like them all , the one with the stripe on the neck caught my attention a lot
