Finally coming up with some names...

MoonlightBoas Mar 01, 2011 02:08 PM

I'm finally forcing myself to name the rest of my collection of Brazilian Rainbow Boas. I thought I'd introduce them to you all. Please let me know if you think the names I've come up with fit the snake. For starters, here are a few pictures of a Female Het Hypomelanistic BRB I decided to name Iris.

Hey Paul, Iris is looking great.

Hmmmm, makes me think I should add a "name" column to my spreadsheet so I can cross reference back easier? You know I looked at my pics to figure out which one she was.

Thanks Dave. Until recently, Iris was named DT-MK-1006. I was holding off on naming most of my new BRBs this year until their color started coming in more. I took her out the other day, and this name seemed fitting. I'll try to post some recent pictures of my other babies over the next week or so.

Thanks Cliff, Iris is probably my brightest colored Female Het Hypo BRB. I can hardly wait to see what she looks like in another year.

Iris is a great name for a rainbow boa, especially since it means "rainbow" in Spanish!

I named her after the Greek Goddess Iris who's associated with rainbows. It seemed like a suiting name
