substrate for a uro

Getting a Uro and would like to know if playsand is the substrate of choice or can I use that reptibark like stuff...thanks Lyn

playsand is fine for a substrate. Unless they are babies i use playsand. Babies on the other hand should be on papertowels or soemthign like repticarpet. as for repti bark, i would say no, it is good for higher/medium humidity animals, not uros who need LOW about 20% or less humidity. Play sand is cheap, impactions are rare, but do occur sometimes.
