Hi,
I'd just like to know exactly the sort of set up you have designed for your adult redfoots indoor enclosure. Please let me know what sort of lighting, substrate, etc.
I have switched from the Reptibark substrate to an indoor-outdoor animal carpet. This way, it is much easier to clean and I don't have to keep throwing out soiled substrate pieces.
I believe this is better than that astroturf stuff people have in their snake enclosures.
Is there something one can spray that is safe to make the enclosure smell good / an odor elliminator or something?
I also use a heating pad underneath for warmth, and above I have the special reptile, cylinder-like bulb. -- Unsure if it's called incandescent lighting or what?! - It makes a very natural lighting for them (sort of like outdoors).
Thanks!
