....here in the USA?
Thanks!
are you referring to these boas: http://www.gazboas.co.uk/5.html
if so, they claim to be recessive? what do you know about these? and why would you want them over a jungle which are co-dom and appear almost identical? please educate those of us that dont know about this boa...

Well, off the top of my head, part of the usefulness of "Magic-stripes" would be (if recessive)that it could be useful in creating new morph combos (including jungles) especially since it has beautiful color variations. An advantage would be the possibilty of producing great looking stripes in predictable numbers without the potential fertility problems associated (so I hear) with Super-Jungles. I'm always skeptical of believing "recessives" that have visible hets. I would love to breed one of that line to mine to see if they're compatible, or if I get a new combo. Mostly the same reason I would like a European "Amber." "Snake-Planet" and "AbcSnakeCenter" have them. So, are there any here at all?
I agree with the point youre making which I think is that they produce what a super jungle look like every time and they do not have the negatives of the super jungle. Im with you on that one which anyone that follows my postings knows I am no fan of super anything. So that would be an interesting project to follow.
Regarding that ambers, they are a gorgeous hypo line named by the breeder. We have some super hypos and salmons here in the US is there something different about the ambers, I could not read it as its in French. Heres a line I posted about recently I called Flamingo Hypos:

Oddly enough it seems that many Europeans will email you back in understandable English when you contact them. Try using a search engine to locate the site by name and it should have a "translate" option to click on from the search results. I know the prices I've been quoted and genetics discussed, but I don't feel I should interpret for them on a public forum. Both lines mentioned are remarkably similar to each other (and to mine) although none of us seem to totally agree on the genetics involved...only that it is a reproducible pattern and color morph. It'll be another year or two before my test breedings should pretty much explain it all.
The "Flamingos" are outstanding, by the way.
